We are actively recruiting for a study assessing the pharmacokinetics of XIFAXAN® 200 mg in pediatric participants 6 to 11 years of age with acute diarrhea of suspected bacterial etiology, and the safety and efficacy of XIFAXAN® 200 MG plus oral rehydration therapy (ORT) compared to ORT alone. If you have a child between 6-11 years old with diarrhea and a fever, they may qualify for the study. Participation will last approximately 1 month with 4 clinic visits in the first week and phone call follow-ups in each week thereafter; compensation is up to $825 and includes meals for longer in-clinic visits.
