Sub-Investigator – Optometrist
Professional Overview:
Dr. Tunikipati, or simply Dr. T, is an optometrist at the Kuriachan Eye Institute (KEI). Dr. T has managed the treatment of dry eye disease and glaucoma, and has performed cataract surgery evaluations in service of the institute. She also fits scleral lenses for patients with corneal conditions or other vision problems that prevent them from achieving good vision with glasses or traditional contact lenses. With this experience, Dr. T will be an excellent Sub-I for Dr. Tong, as we partner with KEI to further optic research.
